Deep Dish Taco Pie

Reading Time: 3 minutes

This was John’s and Jake’s favorites! Make it tonight with some homemade guacamole and chips. Your family will thank you.

First you need these items:

Hint: I love Pioneer Bisquit Mix, but you can use any mix, including small single event packages!

Next mix the sour cream, cheese and mayo and set aside

Take your hamburger and brown it in a skillet. We added 2 cloves of minced garlic.

Once the meat is brown, drain the liquid and add the taco seasoning.

Mix the bisquit mix and water in a bowl. This will be kind of sticky. Spray your baking dish with non stick spray and place the dough in the middle liberally sprinkle with flour (add some to your hands and pat it into the dish.

Begin assembly!
First the beef…

Top with the onions and bell pepper, the tomatoes last, and then spoon the sour cream, cheese, and mayo mix on top. Sprinkle with paprika.

Pop into your preheated oven and cook for 30minutes or until the top is bubbly and slightly brown.

Take it out of the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes before cutting… Enjoy
